Arch. David S. Duek founder and CEO of DWELL, Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Graduate in Jerusalem, served as architect/planner for the greater part of the city center and other historical neighbourhoods on behalf of the Jerusalem Municipality. In addition he was chosen to be the sole exterior advisor to the municipality for quality of design aspect. His ground zero experience in Project Management whether from the tenant coordination angle or the architectural/planning aspect makes him an excellent all-round developer and manager in Tama 38 projects.
A year before the Tama 38 boom. Ground-up condo expansion development in beautiful Old Katamon Jerusalem. We successfully coordinated 12 owners and managed the project from the new zoning, architectural planning, processing the permit and supervising the construction. Finally selling the property.
Rehavia, Jerusalem – Seismic Reinforcement & Building Addition
I was brought on to advise developers on one of the first seismic reinforcement and building addition projects in Rehavia, Jerusalem. With expertise in both architecture and the local real estate market, I guided the project to balance structural upgrades with the preservation of the building’s Bauhaus design.
The project was completed successfully, maintaining the original architectural values while seamlessly integrating new units. All additional residences were sold, marking the project as a key example of sensitive, heritage-focused urban renewal in one of Jerusalem’s most iconic neighborhoods.
We brought the one single investor to fuel this development as well as being the sole marketing agency and part of the partnership.
